Simulaids,is a leader in manufacture and distribution of medical training manikins,

Full-time hours:  Monday – Friday  7 am to 3:30 pm, OR 2:30 pm to 11 pm.
Part-time hours require 4 hours per day, or 8 hours per day 3 days per week.
Part-time schedule subject to approval.

Duties:   Safely and efficiently assembling &/or packing high-quality medical training manikins.
Required skills and abilities: All positions require manual dexterity, visual inspection, dependability, ability to stand/sit for up to 8 hours. Assemblers work with trimming and hand tools, adhesives, paints and cleaning fluids.

Cable Assembly Technician

As a Cable Assembly Technician you will specialize in high volume, fast termination processes for basic Audio and Video cable termination.

Successful Candidates for Cable Assembly Technician should have prior experience in:

  • Soldering or hand tool assembly work
  • Manufacturing systems used for inventory picking
  • Work order material bills
  • Inspection and testing procedures
  • Basic soldering procedures
  • Crimping procedures
  • Various procedures for tubing materials and cable processing

Key responsibilities of a Cable Assembly Technician include:

  • Creating high quality products in a timely manner
  • Providing mechanical inspection and basic continuity testing before submitting work for final test and approval
  • Communicating effectively with team leader to continuously establish and improve quality on the assembly line

Cable Assembly Technicians are required to maintain a clean and organized work station and adhere to all guidelines for PPE, tool use, etc.

Cable Assembly Technicians should be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Employees are required to seek help when lifting anything that is too heavy regardless of the weight or size. Employees must be safety conscious and team oriented.

Audio / Video Sales Service Position (Full Time)

Due to phenomenal growth, we are seeking 3 responsible individuals for securing, growing and managing the sales and relationships for inbound / outbound customer accounts. Must provide excellent customer service to positively impact revenues. Identify, cross-sell and up-sell products using market information (internet) to analyze the market by vendor, product and competition. Create customer loyalty by using effective sales techniques, establishing and maintaining an excellent rapport and business relationship with customers, developing new methods and approaches to finding and attracting new business, and assisting management in the direction of new product, marketing, pricing, policy and procedures development.

This position includes the need for research both online and through catalogs, adherence to vendor pricing policies and minimum advertised prices (MAPs), and a general understanding of pricing strategies.

  • Maintain product pricing based on various daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Position all products at a competitive price as dictated by industry market trends and MAPs
  • Effective use of reporting to determine what products will be shown or removed based on sales history, new introductory status or closeout status
  • Effective use of outside vendor reporting tools that monitor competitors
  • Meet goals of any print deadline when applicable
  • Work with designated purchasing agents to identify potential MAP violations or issues that my impact discounts
  • Work with Item ID team to identify pricing corrections when necessary
  • Update retail pricing based on vendor announced updates
  • Maintain product pricing on time sensitive vendor initiatives such as promotions and rebates

Skills Required:

  • Proficient working knowledge of EXCEL and full Microsoft Office suite
