Saugerties Street Art
Every year from Memorial day to Labor day the work of 30 to 40 local artists, sponsored by local businesses, is displayed through the Town and Village of Saugerties. The theme is soothing representative of the spirit of Saugerties, eg lighthouses and horses. The pieces are auctioned at a gala in September and the proceeds are divided between participating artists, a chosen local charity, and the Saugerties Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber-sponsored ‘Holiday in the Village’ brings visitors to the Village for an early December Sunday event, with crafts, toy giveaways, entertainment, horse drawn wagon rides, and many things to see, hear, and do for all ages.
Our special events continue to focus on a blend of Town and Village events.
