The Saugerties Chamber of Commerce proudly announces the launch of a new program, The Saugerties Takeout Project, aimed at helping to support our restaurants, bakeries and food stores and at the same time helping to feed those Saugerties neighbors in need.
We will be promoting this program on facebook, through the Discover Saugerties website, and with posters for area stores to display. We will be asking people to buy a gift card, either in person or online, good for food at a Saugerties restaurant, bakery or food store to help a Saugerties neighbor in need. To make the process easier, the Chamber will be providing postage paid envelopes to be handed to the customers to mail the gift cards to the Chamber.

The Saugerties Chamber of Commerce will distribute the cards to the Saugerties Area Council of Churches and the Saugerties Central School District to ensure they are given to families and individuals who can benefit from the meals and food bought with the gift cards.
Hopefully you will support the program by putting up the poster and/or facilitating the purchase of gift cards and the distribution of envelopes to your interested customers if you own a restaurant, bakery or food store. Or you can show your support by purchasing a gift card to help feed your neighbors in Saugerties.
